Cyprus to ask for more EU aid
Աշխարհ
Cyprus’s President Nicos Anastasiades will ask European partners for more aid, France Press reports.
Extra assistance for Cyprus was on the agenda of talks between President Anastasiades of Cyprus and Vice President of the European Commission Olli Rehn in the run-up to the Eurogroup’s meeting in Dublin.
The Cypriot president did not specify what kind of assistance he would seek from the EU.
The Eurogroup has already approved a loan of up to €10 bln for Cyprus on the condition that it carries out the restructuring of major banks and freezes deposits over $100,000.
