A young man taken out from canal in Yerevan.

On Dec.29, at about 22:50pm, a call was received at the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations that a man was drowning in the canal next to "Yerevan Nights" restaurant complex.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed, while the operative group and the rescuers would arrive, the restaurant employees took out the man from water. The latter was taken to "Armenia" medical center in Yerevan.
The people gathered on the scene informed the journalist that when they took out the young man from water, his hands were tied. The latter was Yerevan`s Sarkavag 5 lane resident Arshak Avetisyan, 28, who is involved in gold business.
The investigation is underway.
