NKR President Bako Sahakyan received a group of representatives of sport and culture.

On 29 December President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received a group of representatives of sport and culture sphere.

Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President informed that Bako Sahakyan expressed satisfaction and gratitude to the invitees for their victories and achievements noting that by this they have kept high the name and honor of Artsakh.

The NKR President also noted that these achievements are considered among pivotal means of making Artsakh recognizable to the world through sports and culture, securing worthy appearance before the international community, occupying our deserved place in the civilized world.

At the end of the meeting the Artsakh President handed in valuable gifts and financial rewards to a group of representatives of sports and culture who registered exclusive successes in 2011.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, chairman of the National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan, premier Ara Haroutyunyan and other officials partook at the event.
