Facebook pages insulting President blocked in Italy

A special unit of the Italian police monitoring information on the Internet has blocked the social network Facebook pages insulting the head of state Giorgio Napolitano.

Police discovered the presence of people affiliated to the group “I hate Giorgio Napolitano” in several cities, such as Naples, Rome, Bari, and Pesaro.

They shall be facing charges for insulting the honor and dignity of the President of the Republic.
