An unnamed Palestinian official has been quoted as saying that Prime Minister Salam Fayyad is about to file resignation, in his third attempt to step down after the two previous ones were turned down by the President.

Recent Palestinian press reports mentioned serious disagreements between Prime Minister Fayyad and President Mahmoud Abbas.
