Earthquake hits Japans Fukushima Prefecture

Sunday evening, a 5.3 magnitude earthquake hit the Pacific coast of Japan’s Fukushima Prefecture. According to the country’s Meteorological Agency, the epicenter was at a depth of 60 kilometers.
Earthquake tremors were recorded in 18 prefectures, including Tokyo. There was no threat of a tsunami.
No information is available about casualties and destructions including at the Fukushima-1 and Fukushima-2 nuclear power plants.
