Putin’s spokesman rules out gay propaganda as ‘unacceptable’
Russia
Any public rallies in support of gay minority rights are “absolutely unacceptable” in Russia, President Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said on the Russia One TV channel.
He said “it is not our business to criticize the Netherlands” over their attitude to gay rights and gay tolerance, but said some of the ways that were acceptable in the Netherlands were completely impossible in Russia.
