Armen Martirosyan: "Levon Ter-Petrosyan is lying."

Deputy Chairman of the "Heritage" party Armen Martirosyan in an interview with Lurer.com comment on scandalous performance of the first President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan's at founding congress of the "Armenian National Congress."

Note that Levon Ter-Petrosyan, who was elected Chairman of "ANC", in his speech at congress, said that they were ready for a single candidate from the opposition, but the other parties did not agree. "There is still a possibility to start a political process, without demagoguery flat. Now we need to create a single control mechanism for the election to work together after the election."

"He is lying. We made them an offer in connection with the elections of Yerevan Council of Elders and expected that they would also make a proposal in this regard. So what is it? Whether the elections of Yerevan Council of Elders are only elections, and presidential elections are not elections? Has anything changed in the electoral code, or the commissions have become transparent?

Nothing has changed. If you have a desire to cooperate, they could cooperate in the presidential election. And uring dthe elections of Yerevan Council of Elders, we shook hands for cooperation, but they did not take the hand, so what Levon Ter-Petrosyan said in this Congress is not true," Armen Martirosyan said.

Referring also to Ter-Petrosian's statement that the events of the post-election period "they saw everything but the political process," Martirosyan said:

"With regard to the political process, only post-electoral processes in 2008 were political, processes in 2013, when so many people are involved, when people on their own initiative even go on foot from the regions are "non-political". The political process was only after the presidential elections."

Ter-Petrosyan, referring to the charges, why he and ANC leadership did not join to Raffi Hovannisian, said: "Why should I join - to go and pray with Vova Gasparyan? I didi not dream about it in my childhood."

Martirosyan said about it: "Let him come earlier and there would be no problem to pray. Or let him pray with Raffi Hovannisian, not Vladimir Gasparyan. And there is no need for constantly reminding of this, especially when Vladimir Gasparyan joined Raffi Hovannisian, and there is no problem."
