APA - Traffic current on Baku-Shamakhi-Aghsu and Shamakhi-Mughanli-Ismayilli and Shamakhi-Pirgulu highways was restored after heavy snowfall in those regions.

The weather normalized and early this morning the roads were opened, but passenger buses still have problems and the traffic is expected to be completely restored toward the evening. 

The traffic problems occurred because of icy roads as a result of snowy and frosty weather on Tuesday. 

The State Traffic Police Office recommended the drivers headed from Baku to the western regions of the country to use Baku-Kurdamir-Gazakh highway.
