FBI searches flat of first Boston blast suspect

FBI has received a warrant to search the apartment of a suspected Boston attacker after a twin explosion erupted Monday near the finish line of the international Boston Marathon, killing three and wounding over a hundred.
Police have swarmed a flat in the Boston suburb of Revere, AFP has cited the local WBZ-TV channel as saying Tuesday.
CNN earlier said that Massachusetts police had a suspect in the deadly bombing case. The alleged attacker in question is an African-American who witnesses said had tried to sneak into the security zone near the finish line several minutes before the first explosion at 14.50 local time.
Eye-witnesses said a heavily accented man in a dark pullover carrying a black backpack had caught their attention shortly before the blast only to vanish in the ensuing turmoil.
