Festival of Russian culture kicks off in Turkey

The Festival of Russian Culture in Turkey, which began on Monday, has become a traditional event said the head of the Russian Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo (Russian-Cooperation) Konstantin Kosachev.
In the framework of the various activities during the festival, which will run until April 21, Turkish visitors will be introduced to the culture of Russia.
"First of all the festival must be of mutual interest and second of all it must be held regularly and be a tradition," Kosachev said.
He did not rule out that there will be a festival of Turkish culture in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan.
