Vice speaker of Azerbaijan criticizes activity of OSCE Minsk group

Unfortunately, the recent visit of the OSCE MG co-chairs to the region was not remembered for something new.
The statement came from the first vice speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Ziyafat Asgarov.
He said the Minsk Group admits it too.

But it cannot continue this way. We have always said and now we repeat that it is necessary to raise pressure on Armenia.
Protracted Karabakh conflict is the threat to the activity of the OSCE MG group, because the public has formed an opinion that the co-chairs are making visits for nothing, he said.

"The execution of the four resolutions of the UN Security Council and their recognition by other organizations are very important for Azerbaijan. We believe that there are opportunities for settling the Karabakh conflict peacefully, but Armenia is so far avoiding the peace talks. Therefore, Azerbaijan has a potential to liberate the occupied lands", he said, News.Az reports.
