The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan participated in the festive event devoted to the 95th anniversary of the Police of Armenia.

Tigran Sargsyan congratulated all the policemen on the occasion of the Police Day on behalf of the Government’s Staff.

According to the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, today the citizen sees in the policeman a person, who implements his obligations creating an environment, where the citizens will feel safe.

Tigran Sargsyan stated as well that still there were things to complete and that meant that all the issues, which concern the policemen, should be in the center of attention of the Government, including issues related to the technical equipment, salaries and social matters.

On the occasion of the Police Day the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan awarded the Chief of the Police, Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan with the Prime Minister’s souvenir – nominal watch.
