Serzh Sargsyan has congratulated the Yezidi community on their national new year, Melek Taus

In his address the president says,

“I heartily congratulate the Yezidi community in Armenia on the new year holiday, melek taus.

I wish the new year to bring success, happiness and abundance to the Yezidis in our country to help them preserve and develop their national and cultural traditions.

Dear representatives of the Yezidi community,

We are sharing your joy today, and give our assurance to also share your troubles and difficulties and keep your community’s problems under our spotlight.

Congratulating you once again on the traditional holiday, I extend all my best wishes to you.”
