Armenian Press
Although Armenia’s acting FM Edward Nalbandian spares no efforts to deny the reports on his possible removal from his post, the newspaper’s sources report that the issue has been seriously discussed lately, with him welcoming the discussion.
Nalbandian is likely to be appointed Armenia’s ambassador to Switzerland with a special status. He is expected to coordinate the activities of Armenia’s ambassadors to European countries.
Charles Aznavour asked Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan to relieve him of the post of Armenia’s ambassador to Switzerland.
Armenia’s acting minister of education and science Armen Ashotyan is unlikely to be re-appointed as well. He is likely to be appointed Armenia’s ambassador to France, to replace Vigen Chitechyan.
Hranush Hakobyan is a likely candidate for the post of Armenia’s minister of education and science. Hayk Demoyan, Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum Institute, may be appointed Armenia’s minister of diaspora.
