Former Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin said that Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will win the presidential polls in March because there is no candidate to compete with him, Echo Moskvi reports.

The opposition may find a candidate to compete no sooner than one-and-a-half to two years, the minister reckons. He goes on to say that a section of the protesters is trying to radicalize the situation, demanding Putin's resignation. Any attempts at dialogue are neglected.
