An international airport in Haiti’s second largest city of Cap-Haitien will be named after Venezuela’s late president Hugo Chavez, Latin American media reported on Thursday.
Moreover, the city of about 190,000 people on the north coast of Haiti also plans to name one of its squares after Chavez.
The authorities of Haiti ordered a three-day national mourning after the former Venezuelan leader died of cancer on March 5.
