Nicolas Maduro to be officially inaugurated president of Venezuela

Nicolas Maduro will officially be inaugurated president of Venezuela at a ceremony today in Caracas. Russia will be represented by Chairman of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin.
Opposition members have declined to attend the event.
Early elections were held in Venezuela on Sunday due to the death of President Hugo Chavez. According to official results, Maduro received almost 51% percent of votes, while his main rival - the opposition leader Henrique Capriles - about 49%.
Capriles is currently trying to contest the election results.
