Captured Boston bomber suspect is dead - US media

A Boston marathon bombing suspect captured by police died in hospital, local television channels reported early Friday.

Police have told residents of the town of Watertown near Boston to stay indoors and "stay away from windows" as they hunt a second suspect wanted for the attacks in which three people died and about 180 were injured, AFP reports.
