Sevan police arrested the person committing a murder attempt in Armenia.

The person, who attempted to commit murder in Armenia’s Sevan city, is taken into custody, photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed.

On the same day, Police Force’s Sevan Precinct received a call from hospital that Vigen M., 27, who had received a gunshot wound, was transferred to the said hospital. 

It became apparent that Yurik Muradyan, 40, was the person who shot at and wounded Vigen M., in a house in Sevan city on January 4. 

A criminal case was launched and Muradyan was declared wanted. 

And on January 7, Yurik Muradyan himself came to the Precinct, where he handed over the homemade gun which was used during the crime. 

The gun is sent for an examination, and Yurik Muradyan is arrested.
