Manvel Grigoryan: "With our unity we will eliminate repetition of crime."

Chairman of "Yerkrapah" Board Volunteer Union, hero of the Artsakh Liberation War, General Manvel Grigoryan sent a message on the 98th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The letter, in particular, notes:

"Every year on April 24 Armenians in Armenia, Artsakh and the whole world revere the memory of a half million victims of the Armenian Genocide.

On this occasion, all progressive humanity of the world is next to Armenia, which honors the memory of the innocent victims, keeping at heart a sense of duty and self-exert all efforts towards international recognition of this monstrous and unprecedented crime.

In 1890-1923 the Ottoman Empire State properly carried out an extermination of the Armenian people.

Every Armenian, no matter in which part of the world he may be, knows and will never forget the depth of the tragedy.

Unity we reach solutions to all of our national problems.

With our unity we will eliminate the repetition of crime.

With our unity we will protect every Armenian in every part of the world.

So, let us with unity honor the memory of victims of the Genocide and strengthen our country, the homeland of all Armenians in the name of justice, in the name of final recognition of the Armenian Genocide and territorial compensation."
