"Haykakan Zhamanak": 2-3 companies to be established in Armenia

2-3 national carriers will be established in Armenia after Armavia’s bankruptcy. 

No names are yet being reported and negotiations are underway. The same sources report that as far as the market is not big and there is an issue of competition with the Russian carriers a certain strategy is being worked out.

Mechanisms are being worked out for the state be able to interfere in the works of few airlines in case of some issues.

Note, that the contract signed between Armavia and the state expired on April 22.
