Armenia's higher officials paid tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide

The higher officials of the Republic of Armenia visited the Tzitzernakaberd Memorial and paid tribute to the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.

His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, presided over the ceremony of the repose of souls for the Armenian Genocide victims. Higher officials bowed their heads and honored the memory of 1,5 million assassinated Armenians with a minute of silence. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan paid a visit to the Tzitzernakaberd Hill with his wife Rita Sargsyan.

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan also paid a visit to the Tzitzernakaberd Hill.
