"In no way it is managed to control the traffic in capital Yerevan. The amount of fines were added, the police officers were changed by car inspectors, but again nothing helped. Now street surveillance and speed measuring cameras are installed in Armenia’s capital Yerevan which will be operated from January 16, 2012, in an attempt to regulate traffic rules in the city. How it will help to control the traffic and decrease the number of car accidents is hard to say," the newspaper writes.
