PAP expects Police Chief's review in connection with an incident between Tsarukyan and policeman

Today in connection with the 98th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide the representatives of PAP parliamentary faction, led by party leader Gagik Tsarukyan visited Tsitsernakaberd, paid tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, laid flowers at the memorial. Paying tribute Tsarukyan immediately tried to get to the place, where his car had been parked. However, he was not allowed to go down this road, pointing the other way.

Tsarukyan, referring to the policeman, said: "Brother, but my car is there." However, the policeman did not allow.

In an interview with Lurer.com Secretary of PAP parliamentary faction Naira Zohrabyan, referring to the incident, said: "I would characterize it as misconduct of policemen carrying out his duties. I am inclined to think that the policeman simply dis not imagine who was standing in front of him and tried to exceed his authority. Mr. Tsarukyan could exercise his authority as member of the National Security Council, the head of RPA faction and give a clear answer, but the leader of the PAP himslef decided to prevent the rising incident.

Of course, members of the faction were ready to respond, but Mr. Tsarukyan consider it right not to make noise from that. We expect a clear review of Police Chief in relation to that policeman's behaviour."
