On April 24, the day of 98th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, Mayor of Gyumri with his party members visited the "Canyon of Massacre" where he honored the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Samvel Balasanyan noted that modern Turkey has to get rid of the label of the country, committed Genocide and to recognize it.
