Relatives of Russia hospital fire victims to get $16,000 each

Relatives of the patients who died Friday in the hospital fire in the Russian village of Ramenskaya near Moscow will get 500,000 rubles (16,000 dollars) each, the acting Moscow region governor has said.
“The Moscow region will pay 500,000 rubles to the victims’ families. We are also going to cover all burial expenses,” Gov. Andrei Vorobyov said.
A blaze broke out at psychiatric hospital No914 in the Ramensakaya village near Moscow. The fire started at about 2:20am (10:20pm GMT Tuesday). The blaze quickly spread over some 420 sq meters.
There were 41 patients undergoing treatment at the hospital, but only three managed to flee. 12 bodies have been found so far, rescuers say.
