On April 26 Armenia marks Frontier Guard's professional holiday. This day has been celebrated since 2007 in accordance with the decree of the President of Armenia.

Frontier guards of the Republic of Armenia are called to protect the state border of the Republic of Armenia, to provide the state border security and independence of the Republic of Armenia, to carry out border control at checkpoints across the state border, to carry out the state border and border.
