Vendetta in Gyumri. New details on the case of a shootout

New details have emerged in the case of a shootout in Gyumri on April 23. On April 25 at 15:30 in the result of joint operational and investigative activities of Gyumri police station Gevorg Khachatryan, born in 1995 came to police department and voluntarily surrendered "AK-74" gun with magazine, loaded with 14 rounds of 5.45 caliber.

Gevorg Khachatryan said that on April 23 in a shooting that took place outside 54/b house in Shirakatsi street with this gun he intended to pursue Vahe Ghukasian, who during a firefight gunshot wounded his father Harutyun Khachatryan.

Khachatryan is detained. The investigation is continuing.

On April 24, 1989 in Gyumri's Police department Vahe Ghukasyan, born in 1989, admitted that he had committed the crime.

Ghukasyan said he too received a gun injury after Karapetyan shot at him with Makarov gun.

The police officers have found guns in Ghukasyan’s Lada-Priora model car and Makarov gun in the territory near 54 Shirakatsi street. Vahe Ghukasyan is also arrested.
