Meetings in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On April 24, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received Mr. Tibor Mikus, Governor of Trnava Region of the Republic of Slovakia in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. Governor Mikus was accompanied by Mr. Ashot Ghahramanyan, Governor of the Armavir Region of the Republic of Armenia.

During the meeting the Catholicos of All Armenians noted his satisfaction on the occasion of the formation of cooperation between the regions of Trnava and Armavir, stating his confidence that it will result in a closer connection between the two nations.

His Holiness expressed his appreciation to Mr. Mikus for the important contribution by the Slovakian National Council in recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide.

During the meeting they reflected on the Spiritual life and inter-church relations of the two countries.
