His Holiness Karekin II receives the students from the Hovnanian School

On April 25, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received the students from the Hovnanian School (New Jersey, U.S.A.) in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin accompanied by Mr. Hratch Tufayan, benefactor of the Mother See.

Welcoming the students’ visit to the Spiritual Center of All Armenians, His Holiness expressed his appreciation to the administration and teachers of the Hovnanian School for presenting the opportunity for the students to visit their Homeland and gain an appreciation of the antiquities and national treasures. Vehapar noted that such visits are an important asset in strengthening the devotion to the Homeland, and the enthusiasm at seeing the native land helps people to feel and better understand the beauty of their native country.

His Holiness exhorted the young descendants of Armenia to live their entire lives with that spirit and awareness, to grow up to be a kind and respected generation, and become a support for their Homeland.
