Russian Fair to open in NYC

Traditional Russian treats, toys, books and folk crafts will be on display at the Big Russian Fair that is opening today on Manhattan Island in New York. Held for the first time since 1922 the high-profile event is timed for the month-long Russian culture festival now on in New York State.

In a parallel development, 250 Russian-speaking children from across the United States will be taking part in festival of their own held at Broadway’s famous Symphony Space concert hall.
