"Haykakan Zhamanak": 'New' leader.
Armenian Press
"According to informed sources, Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan intends to assign to the National Assembly (NA) his deputy chief of staff, Tigran Gevorgyan, as NA Chief of Staff," "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily writes.
“On one occasion, PM had already announced to his close circles that, ‘I will designate my guy as NA Chief of Staff, and the parliament will be all mine.’ There are talks among the ruling coalition`s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), that Tigran Sargsyan could perhaps become the NA Speaker, after the upcoming parliamentary elections, and he is already attempting to send his men to the NA on a mission. At present, NA Chief of Staff’s duties are placed upon singer Sofi Mkheyan’s father, Gagik Mkheyan, who likewise is trying to take that office. But his chances are not assessed highly,” "Haykakan Zhamanak" writes.
