Barev Yerevan applies to court
Right
Yesterday member of Barev Yerevan alliance Daniel Ioanissian submitted an application to Armenia’s administrative court against Central Election Commission.
The application appeals the decision of the CEC which has not considered the event conducted by Yerevan Municipality on April 7 – Day of Motherhood and Beauty – as violation of Election code.
During the mentioned event women and girls were distributed flowers on behalf of incumbent mayor Taron Margaryan which Barev Yerevan considers Margaryan’s propaganda on the account of taxpayers.
"Heritage" party activists recorede municipality's violation.

Ioanissian asks to describe this event as provision of free products and services to the citizens on behalf of a candidate which is strictly banned by the Election code.
The first trial is due today at 4 pm. Ioanissian has also submitted an application to the CEC about violations. Besides demanding elimination of violations, the application also demands withdrawal of the ruling Republican party from registration due to a great number of violations committed by them. The discussion of this application will take place next week.
