Sochi to be shipshape by November

The programmes to redevelop and spruce up the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi will be accomplished by next November.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak and Krasnodar Governor Alexander Tkachov spoke about this at a Sochi news conference Saturday.

Sochi is the host city of the 22nd Winter Olympics, to be held in February 2014.

Some 2,800 athletes from 80 countries are expected to take part.
