Experts see a growing interest in the Russian language in all parts of the world.
Professor Nikolai Grabovsky of Moscow State University spoke about this in Thessaloniki Saturday at the 3rd international conference on teaching Russian and translating texts into and from it.
About 150 academics and translators from 20 countries are taking part.
All three conferences of this kind were hosted by Greece.
