Today RA National Assembly continued its four-day sittings.
During the meeting the Secretary of "Heritage" parliamentary faction Zaruhi Postanjyan addressed to Armenian-Turkish protocols, included in the agenda of four-day sittings.
"You, as the Speaker of the National Assembly, may feel out of your authority on this point, however, as a political figure and representing the position of the Chairman of the Parliament of Armenia, you have a variety of levers to control the fact that these shameful protocols have been removed from the agenda of the National Assembly. You have to fight for the Parliament of RA get rid of this shame. To do this, you can organize protests and rallies. I advise you to organize similar events" Postanjian said.
NA Chairman Hovik Abrahamyan, answering Postanjian, said:
"Mrs. Postanjyan, can you call me to something good? I do not agree with your assessment that these are shameful protocols. These protocols are in no way connected with the Genocide, and in general with any political process. Protocols were signed, according to which, without any preconditions, the border would be opened and diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey would be created, then the economic development of Armenia would follow."
