David Beckham was sent off just six minutes after coming on as a substitute in Paris St-Germain's 1-0 win at Evian.

The former England midfielder, 37, was shown a straight red in stoppage time following a lunge on Youssef Adnane.

PSG, who led through Javier Pastore's 50th-minute goal, were already a man down after Marco Verratti was sent off for a second bookable offence.

Beckham joined the French club on a five-month contract in January and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is keen for the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Los Angeles Galaxy player to extend his stay with the club.
