China floods, mudslides kill 5, displace thousands

Five people have died and an estimated 200,000 displaced by floods and mudslides caused by torrential rains in China’s southern Guangxi-Chuan autonomous region.

Bobai, Pubai and Xiyuan districts have been the hardest hit with 63 houses folding and local emergency teams evacuating more than 10,000 to higher ground.
