RA Police: "Naira Zohrabyan spread misinformation."

"PAP MP Naira Zohrabyan spread a statement on the Internet and print media that in order to participate in elections of Yerevan Council of Elders 8000 Aparan residents were registered in Achapnyak district. Please be informed that this reduction is again misinformation and once again an attempt to mislead the public with false statements. As part of the electoral processes such baseless statements have been repeted, none of which, however, has not been substantiated. Evidence of non-objective statement is also given below numerical comparison.

In preliminary list of the presidential election in RA Achapnyak district, published on January 9, were included 81,614 voters, and in preliminary lists of elections of Yerevan Council of Elders, published on March 27, were included 81,751 voters.

RA Police have repeatedly pledged that the registration of the population in the public register is carried out exclusively by a specific legislation, subject to the availability of relevant principles", written in the message of RA Police.
