New York Daily. Zimbabwe soldier kidnapped by gang and raped by woman

A Zimbabwe soldier was kidnapped by a gang, raped and then left for dead. Police is investigating the incident and looking for the suspects, New York Daily News reported.

A soldier, whose name is not reported, was kidnapped on April 19 by a gang of two women and one man.

What seemed to be a safe ride turned into a nightmare for the 25-year-old man. In an hour after he agreed to go for the ride, he was blindfolded by one of the woman and taken to a house where he was robbed of $35 and his cellphone.

During the following four days, he was ordered to "be intimate" with one of the women "several times," Manicaland Assistant Inspector Muzondiwa Clean said.

On April 23 he was taken to the Dangamvura Mountains where the man was left to dead. The young man made his way to Sakubva Police Station where he reported his ordeal.

The incident is under investigation.
