Two children have been killed in a powerful explosion in the Russian North Caucasus Republic of Dagestan, Russia’s RIA-Novosti news agency quoted a local police spokesman as saying on Wednesday.

Two children have been killed in a powerful explosion in the Russian North Caucasus Republic of Dagestan, Russia’s RIA-Novosti news agency quoted a local police spokesman as saying on Wednesday.

He said that several people more were injured in the blast that occurred near a central market in Dagestan’s capital Makhachkala.
Police are investigating.
