Two Russian Emergencies Ministry planes have delivered humanitarian aid to earthquake-hit China, media reports said on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, the Ilyushin Il-76 aircraft delivered about 40 tons of humanitarian cargo to China, including essentials and food.
Around 200 people were killed and more than 12,000 others injured in a 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Lushan County in southwest China’s Sichuan province on April 20.
On April 28, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported that it had already delivered 13.5 metric tons of humanitarian aid to Sichuan.
