Yerevan Zoo officially opened

According to the tradition, the Yerevan Zoo was opened on May 1. As Armenpress was reported by the Department for Information and Public Relations of the Yerevan Municipality, the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan as well visited the Zoo with his wife and children on the opening day.

Taron Margaryan, accompanied by the director of the Zoo, walked around the park and got acquainted with the conditions created for the animals. The director of the Zoo reported the Yerevan Mayor that the works, intended to be done during the last year, have been nearly completed and the demands, put forward by the Municipality, are gradually brought to life.

During his talk with the journalists, the Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan congratulated all the visitors on the occasion of the opening of the Yerevan Zoo and stated that the Zoo development programs will be continued.
