Blast at plant in Toronto suburb – 9 injured

There’s been a blast at a plan producing automobile door locks in the Toronto suburb of Newmarket. According to a spokesperson for Dortek Industries, which owns the plant, nine people were injured and bruised. Six of them were taken to hospital.
At the time of the incident there were approximately 200 people on the factory floor.
Work at the plant has been stopped.
Police and inspectors from the Labor Ministry are trying to determine the cause of the explosion.
Apparently, no evidence of criminal intent has been found yet.
