Hero of far horizons or after May 5

As we know, the upcoming municipal elections, which will be held on Sunday, are the last in the next four years and this is the reality that many drives revenge towards authorities at least in these elections.

This election appears to be Serzh Sargsyan's last stroke of the coming years, which depending on the results, can be affordable and favorable for implementation of Serzh Sargsyan's own initiatives. And, of course, the other version, which has radical difference- the result of the power failure in the future, which can lead to minimum complications.

Based on this possible version, the authorities invest everything possible to ensure 40% or more votes for the elections, however, not standing behind threats from other political forces. And the dangers are real. First, it is obvious that the Republicans will provide traditional and standard elections, which do not differ from the previous ones. And today the real danger that threatens the Republican Party is realization of the control at polling stations. This is due to the fact that the PAP has collected more election observers than the actual voters are. It turns out that if the Republican Party will not take into consideration this fact, using its old mechanisms and approaches, then it will endanger himself and will not provide 40% or more votes.

However, in this case, it is interesting to consider two perspectives, which may be created, depending on the results of the elections.

First, if in the elections of Yerevan Council of Elders authorities sign the second victory of this year, then Armenian political life will be endangered a long sleep till future elections. Since in this case, the authorities will make the indicator of own reproduction for these years. But in this case there's also PAP's factor, that is to say, the opposition, already ahead of the autumn session, which, at least, taking into account the financial resources will be able to keep the field in the opposite case, that is to say, the coalition if the government will turn into the same situation, which over the past few years, people will have to go through. This, of course, will be an attack for PAP, after which it will be impossible to simply stand up, it will record political end of PAP.

Second, if the authorities do not win the municipal elections, and it is the same as PAP wins, then the situation will change, at least, the opposition will become the pledge of political balance. First, in case of PAP's victory, of course, the opposition political parties, which had a great contribution to that possible victory, will get their share, which already has been long unavailable for them. 

Then, the inevitable co-operation between the authorities, municipality and the Mayor may put an end to a monopoly policy, which has been a decade since wrecks the government and the country in general.

Thus, the anchor, which can either change or leave the same situation in Armenia today and coming five years are municipal elections on May 5, that may become evolution basis for a new kind of country, a new culture, a new system of values and the historical development of our country. And both the authorities, alternatives and oppositions should realize this.
