Elections of Yerevan Council of Elders are hold today. All Polling stations are open from 8:00 am till 20:00 pm local time.

Seven political parties take part in the election- 6 parties and one bloc: "Arakelutyun" ("Mission") party, "Armenian National Congress", "Prosperous Armenia", the Armenian Revolutionary Federation(ARF-D), Republican Party of Armenia and "Rule of Law" and "Hello, Yerevan" bloc party, which includes "Heritage" party.

It should be noted that the observation mission will be hold by 26 local non-governmental organizations and an international organization- Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Counil of Europe.
