Zenit battles on for ttile

It will be hard for Zenit St. Petersburg to beat CSKA Moscow to a third consecutive Russian Premier League title, but they will fight to the end, Zenit's star striker Hulk has said.

Hulk scored his first goal wearing a Zenit jerse on Saturday as the team pounded Alania Vladikavkaz 4-0 to cut the gap to CSKA down to three points with three games remaining for both teams.

As long as there are still mathematical chances, everything is possible, Hulk said Saturday.

We know that it will be hard to achieve victory, but we just have to do our job, to win, and wait for CSKA to lose points.
Zenithas the best chances on paper with all three of their upcoming league opponents at risk of relegation, while CSKA must contend with Europe-chasing FC Kuban, local rivals Lokomotiv Moscow and struggling FC Rostov.

If CSKA and Zenit finish with equal points the St. Petersburg team will take the title by virtue of their superior game record.
If CSKA wins, it will be their first title since 2006.

Zenit's next game is a Russian Cup semifinal against Anzhi Makhachkala on Tuesday.
