On Saturday, several carriages of carrying a toxic substance, derailed near the town of Ghent in the province of East Flanders.
As a result, there was a fire. Rescuers did not put out the fire, as the interaction of water with chemicals can be even more toxic.

As noted on the Voice of Russia, by UN expert on chemical safety Valery Petrosyan, the chemical that was on the train, acrylonitrile, is a very strong carcinogen.
