Obama: "US may start LNG supplies to global market soon."
USA
The US may start liquefied natural gas supplies to the global market in the coming years, but the decision on granting state licenses for LNG exports to US companies has not been taken yet, US President Barack Obama said Saturday in San-Jose, Costa Rica.
He was meeting businessmen from Central America.
In the near future the US plans to significantly increase its hydrocarbons production by developing shale rock with use of modern technologies of horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing.
